Oludeniz attracts divers from all over the world because of its warm, crystal-clear water, and because of the marine life and colour of the fish which inhabit its reefs. Why not take advantage of your stay to see for yourself what it's all about? We offer introductory dives to anyone over 12 years of age who is reasonably fit. You will join one of our friendly instructors, who will be happy to introduce you to the underwater world.

After a short introduction to the basic rules of diving, your instructor will help you kit up, and take you for a gentle shallow dive.

Our introductory try dives are privately guided to ensure your safety and enjoyment.

Learn to Dive
Diving is a lot of fun, and the Mediterrenean is one of the easiest places to learn, with great facilities and perfect conditions for beginners. We offer dive courses sanctioned by PADI and CMAS, two of the biggest diver training agencies in the world.

.::DISCOVER SCUBA DIVER COURSE::.

This course is the very first step on the road toward certification. The skills completed during this dive maybe credited toward certification in the PADI Scuba Diver Program or the PADI Open Water Diver Program. It is equivalent to Module One of the confined water session. If you decide to continue, you may finish either:

* here at DiveMed Dive Centre. The price of this dive is credited toward your certification price.
* at home. All you need to do is ask us for your student record, which documents your achievement. When you are back home, you can take it to any PADI Dive Centre or Resort to continue your course.

Prerequisites
* Reasonable health and fitness
* Ability to swim and feel relaxed under water
* Min. Age: 10 years

We recommend the Discover Scuba Diving lesson/tour for people who want to experience a dive before committing to an entire set of lessons.

Course Description

First Session:With the help of a flip chart, we will explain to you a certain amount of theory, supported by a short 8-question review, and we will make sure that you understand the important rules of diving. The lesson will be short and concise, designed to inform you, but not confuse you.

Second Session:After the theory and before the boat dive, you will practice in a shallow area of the sea, in near pool-like conditions. The dive will last about 40 minutes, depending on your comfort level. You will be surprised by how quickly you will relax!

.::OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE::.

Learn to dive with DiveMed Diving Centre's friendly instructors in the amazing Mediterrenean waters. On succesful completion of this course, you will be awarded the PADI Open Water certification.

This certificatation entitles you to rent gear and dive with a buddy without the supervision of a PADI dive professional, throughout the world. We feature small groups and personal service, ideal for learning new skills.

Course Description

These courses are run over four days ensuring that you have plenty of time to learn. Two days of confined (shallow) water dives, practical exercises and informative theory presentations prepares you for 4 open water dives.

This course teaches you all the vital skills for sub-aqua survival! Once earned, this rating enables you to dive anywhere independent of instructor supervision.

Our daily dive sites offer highlights for all levels of diver and every taste ranging from caves, caverns and drop-offs to reefs covered in flora and soft corals. Each dive offers the opportunity to see wonderful creatures such as Grouper, Octopus and Moray Eels as well as less widely seen Gurnards and Seahorses. Diving is conducted from the shore or from our dive boat, which offers divers spacious comfort, a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Non-divers are welcome to come along, swim, snorkel and join in the fun of the day.
